MCD2 are fully compatible with Microchip's Circuit Debugger MPLAB-ICD2 of a powerful, low-cost, high operating speed of development tools. It uses Flash technology chip area since the procedure to read and write functions, use the chip to achieve simulation debugging.
MCD2 software platforms are used by Microchip's MPLAB-IDE v6.20 (Integrated Development Environment software package) or higher for all the current version, compatible with Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT and Windows 2000/Windows XP / Windows 2003/Windows Vista operating system and so on.
Its communication interface at the same time with high-speed USB2.0 interface (up to 12Mbit / s) with the RS-232 serial interface; operating voltage range of 2.0 ~ 5.5V.Its main features are:
o source code editor;
o directly in the source code debugging interface;
o to set a breakpoint one meeting;
o observation of variables and registers;
o observation of program code area;
o amend the register;
o stop freezing (when the host computer running the program to stop, freeze the operation of the chip);
o Over-voltage short-circuit protection circuit, overcurrent protection circuit, output protection circuit RP;
o Real-time background debugging;
o chip programmer or programming;
o support the objectives of the device voltage range of 2.0 ~ 5.5V, low-voltage devices more convenient programmer and debugging (many other similar domestic products can not debug or programmer low-voltage devices);
ICD2 can support most of the Flash chip technology, which not only can use the debugger to do, but also can be used as the development of type / production programmer uses.
ICD2 are currently only able to support a low-cost programmer and Simulation of PIC24FJXX/DSPIC30FXX/DSPIC33FJXX tool.
ICD2 is the only one to have more than 80% of customer base PIC Engineer development tools.
ICD2 factory production PIC18FXX/PIC24FJXX/DSPIC30FXX/DSPIC33FJXX are currently the most convenient, cost-effective, fastest programmer a tool.
At the same time to support Microchip's new 32-bit single-chip microcomputer.
The latest Microchip device upgrade speed upgrade simply download the new version of the software on the line, do not need to change the hardware, zero cost upgrade.
Emulator debugger MCD2 for ICE Emulator are a cheap alternative (than ICE emulator cheaper price near 10 times). It can make a lot of previously required expensive hardware in order to achieve function. However, these benefits are online emulator of the cost of some convenience. If the user is willing to design into their applications compatible with MCD2, they will be able to enjoy a low-cost hardware debugger benefits.
Compared with the ICE, on-line debugger requirements:
* Circuit Debugger occupancy goals require some hardware and software resources.
* The target PIC MCU must have a running clock.
* MCD2 only in the system, all connections are completely normal in order to debug.
* The volume of post-partum in the system can still be placed in the application of a plate-Circuit Debugger to connect Block MCD2 connected with, so on the application of permit convenient testing, debugging and re-programming.
* Although MCD2 with ICE compared to certain deficiencies, but it also has some outstanding advantages:
* After the mass production can be linked directly with the target board without having to first remove the single-chip simulation and then plug in the first.
* MCD2 target application can be re-programmed without the need for other connections or equipment.
* Prices so cheap, but also have the programmer functions, but also unrestricted free upgrade constantly to support new devices.

| 2008 年2月乾龙盛针对现有MCD2/ICD2所存在的普遍问题做出重大改版,改版后的PCB版本为A61版,成本比原来增加近50元 人民币(仅一个超级微小无音进口继电器就十几块人民币一个,PCB板上U11位置),乾龙盛坚持的原则:加料不加价,品质更上一层楼. 改版后的PCB如下图: |

| 增加如下保护电路: 1. 用户板比仿真器先上电保护电路,杜绝用户板先上电烧坏仿真器输出电路的问题(这就是无音继电器的功劳,不是一般MOS或三极管能做到的)。 2. 静电保护电路,防止外部静电烧坏MCD2输出电路。 3. 用户板过流/短路保护电路,用户板过压保护电路(采用无损自恢复过流保护)。 4. 电脑USB口过流保护电路(采用无损自恢复过流保护)。 5. USB口电压恒压电路,避免因电脑USB口电压不稳造成的仿真器不稳现象。 6. 超强抗干扰PCB布线设计、地线零电位设计、地线隔离设计、信号线包地设计、零电位(相对地参考点)整板包地设计. |
